We took a mini-vacation to Galveston back in early August (this is how far behind we are with this blog) courtesy of Pops and Mimi. So here I am on the deck of this beach house with my fishing pole (this place was in Pirate Beach area on a canal, so chances are it no longer exists). To lighten the mood, admire the 70's-ish soft lens my mother has applied to the photos (really more likely due to lens fog from the rapid transition from freezing cold house, thanks Pops, to humid beachy air).
